Unlike the GPT-3 and similar models, DeepWriter is a tool for writers who want to write their own stories, not to have a machine write them. DeepWriter does not write your story for you, but it helps you brainstorm and compose your own text with the help of the unique GPT+ keyboard.

The keyboard suggests the next word based on the context of the text you are writing. The suggestions are deeply contextualized, meaning they are based on the context of the long sequence of words you have already written, not just the last few. DeepWriter provides the candidates for the next word in the story, not the story itself. That's why we say DeepWriter does not write for you.

The writer can choose from a variety of deep models trained and tuned to different text types and genres. The models are trained on many datasets, including books, news, blogs, tweets, screenplays, and more. Many languages will be supported soon, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, and more. At this moment, DeepWriter supports English only.

The PRO models are trained on a larger corpus of text and are updated regularly. The PRO models are available for a monthly subscription fee. They cover a wider range of genres and meet the expectations of professional writers.

The main technical premise and difference between DeepWriter and GPT-3 is that DeepWriter works inside the device, not in the cloud. The DeepWriter models are stored on the device and the text is processed locally. Internet connection is not required for writing.
